Model 17 Black & White Photo Booth Manufactured 1968
This Photo Booth was initially designed to take ID photos. They were located in various sites around Australia, including shopping centres and railway stations. These Photo Booths became extremely popular over the years, being a quick and convenient way to take photos. They were eventually superseded by the Colour Photo Booths, but have still stayed in the heart and memories of those who have used them over the years. Beside hiring out these photo booths for special occasions, we still continue to operate them in permanent sites in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. It is fair to say, they are now a part of Australian History.
Model 11 Black & white Photo Booth Manufactured 1958
The Model 11 Photo Booth was initially developed specifically for the Government and Military ID photos. Photos were taken by a second person using an external button. This was also the first photo booth to allow more than one set of photos to develop at a time, by the introduction of solonoids instead of giant mechanical gears, and a spider which could hold 7 individual strips of 4 photos at a time. This was the prototype for the photo booths we continue to use today. Yes we, do have this photo booth, it is currently being restored to it's former glory, and an announcement will be made on this website for its launch.
